Medical & Illness guidelines:

  • Any child that gets sick during attendance requires parents to visit and pick-up the child immediately.
  • Any child suffering from a medical condition that requires prescription of antibiotics must be kept at home for the first 24 hours and shall not be admitted to the Nursery during this period.
  • We maintain strict guidelines pertaining to infection & illness control at the Nursery. The following symptoms form the attendance exclusion criteria: Fever, Rash, Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Unusual lethargy or fatigue, Poor appetite, Persistent crying / irritability, yellow skin / eyes, conjunctivitis / eye infection, head lice.
  • The Nursery must be informed of anything that concerns to the health and well-being of your child.
  • It is understood that parents agree to allow us to seek medical advice and aid from our Nursery Doctor or hospital depending on the circumstances and situation.
  • It is mandatory that both parents fill and authenticate the child’s Emergency Medical Information sheet when registering at the nursery.
  • If you require the Educare Nurse to administer any medication to your child, please fill in the details pertaining to date, time, dosage, medicine name and consent in our Illness Report form. Any medication must be submitted to the office and not sent in school bags.

Alterations & Amendments:

We at Educare, maintain a database of all child records for emergency and administrative purpose. However, parents can request amends in our records by submitting in writing changes to the following:

  • Child’s attendance / Healthy & well-being/ Educational needs:

Leaving: Please note that we require a one month notice in writing prior to cancelation of your child’s registration with Educare. You may obtain the “Letter of Notice” format from our office.

Pick-up & Drop:

  • Children must be brought to and picked up from the main Nursery entrance only. No child should be left unattended or picked up without informing staff.
  • Please only park in the designated parking areas. The safety of your child and of others is of paramount importance.
  • In order to avoid any confusion, please note that we expect an official communication in advance of any changes to the authorized person that picks up your child from the nursery. No child shall be allowed to leave the nursery premises without permission and verification.
